Terms of Service
By using LookSnap you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is narrow: it reads pages Snapchat already publishes to the open web and shows you what they contain.
What the service is
LookSnap is a browser-based viewer and downloader for public Snapchat content. Enter a username and, if that account has turned on a Public Profile, its public Stories, Spotlight clips and Highlights load in your browser.
No Snapchat account is used and none is asked for. The service reads pages Snapchat serves to any logged-out visitor, and it cannot read anything else.
LookSnap is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Snap Inc. Snapchat, Snap, Spotlight, Bitmoji and related marks belong to Snap Inc.
What the service cannot do
These limits are structural rather than policy choices, and no version, tier or request changes them.
- Private accounts and friends-only Stories are not reachable. Snapchat publishes no web page for them.
- Snaps, chats, Memories and friend lists are not published and are not accessible.
- Expired Stories are gone for everyone, including the account that posted them.
- Viewer lists — who watched someone else’s Story — are shown only to that account and cannot be retrieved.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for what you look up and what you do with what you find. The following are not permitted, and using the service for them ends your permission to use it at all.
- Harassment, stalking, monitoring or surveillance of any person, including building a record of someone’s movements or routine.
- Any use involving content that depicts a minor, or targeting the account of a person who appears to be a minor.
- Republishing, redistributing or commercially exploiting content you have no rights to.
- Circumventing rate limits, automating bulk requests against this site, or reselling access to it.
- Any use that violates Snapchat’s terms, applicable law, or a court order or restraining order that applies to you.
Content and rights
Everything the service displays belongs to whoever created it. Nothing here grants you a licence to it.
Public visibility is a decision about who may watch, not a transfer of copyright, and it does not affect the likeness or privacy rights of anyone appearing in the content. Saving a file for personal reference is a different act from republishing it, and only you can judge whether you have the right to do the second.

Availability and warranty
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
It depends on pages Snapchat publishes and may change or stop working at any time without notice, including because Snapchat changed what it publishes. Results may be incomplete, delayed or rate-limited. No uptime is promised.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LookSnap and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes and termination
These terms may change; the date at the top of the page records when. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the current version.
Access may be limited or withdrawn at any time, particularly where use falls under the acceptable use section above.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without depriving you of the protections of mandatory consumer law where you live.
